Tara Oliver | Founder / Managing Partner
Tara is the Founder of Oliver Partners, a boutique commercial real estate firm she established in 2014. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, she specializes in landlord representation and property management for office, retail, and industrial properties. Known for her ability to pair strong sales expertise with proven leadership and operational skills, Tara has built a reputation for delivering exceptional client service and consistently achieving strong returns.
Before launching Oliver Partners, Tara gained valuable experience working with leading commercial real estate firms as well as directly with private investors. These diverse perspectives inspired her to create a fully integrated boutique firm that provides exceptional real estate services across all sectors under one umbrella.
Tara holds a BBA in Business Marketing from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University–San Marcos). She is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and an active commercial real estate investor.
Karl Oliver | Vice President
Karl joined Tara over a decade ago to help grow Oliver Partners into a dynamic, client-focused commercial real estate firm. With a background in oil and gas logistics, he made a decisive transition into real estate and has since become a driving force behind the company’s continued growth and success.
Known for his personal dedication and strategic approach, Karl works with businesses and franchise operators of all sizes—from single-location startups to national multi-unit brands—helping them secure ideal spaces tailored to their goals. He negotiates each deal with an owner’s mindset, focused on maximizing value and delivering optimal outcomes.
Karl holds a BBA in Business Management from Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State University at San Marcos).
Eliza Escamilla
Eliza Escamilla is a seasoned Property Manager with over a decade of experience in commercial real estate. Renowned for her strategic insight and results-oriented mindset, she consistently delivers exceptional value to property owners and tenants alike. Eliza excels in maximizing occupancy, minimizing vacancies, and boosting tenant retention through proactive communication, effective marketing, and a commitment to building strong relationships.
As a licensed real estate agent, Eliza offers a comprehensive understanding of the leasing process—from tenant screening to lease negotiation. Her operational expertise has helped reduce delinquencies, improve lease renewal rates, and enhance tenant satisfaction. Whether overseeing new developments or established portfolios, Eliza takes pride in driving leasing success and increasing revenue through smart positioning and targeted strategies.
Outside of her professional role, Eliza is a devoted Christian, proud mother of two daughters, and loving pet parent to two furry companions. She enjoys cheering on the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys with family and friends, spending time outdoors, and relaxing on her backyard swing. For Eliza, life’s greatest joys are found in simple moments filled with faith, family, and connection.
Kim Warhol | Accounting / Operations
Kim has been with Oliver Commercial since its inception, playing a key role in the company’s growth by embracing every role and responsibility that came her way. Over the past eleven years, she has built deep expertise across multiple areas—including property management, accounting, brokerage support, and executive administration. Her willingness to take on any challenge has made her an invaluable asset to the team.
Today, Kim manages the financial operations for Oliver’s extensive portfolio of commercial properties. Her sharp attention to detail ensures accuracy and efficiency in all bookkeeping and operational processes, both for the properties and the firm itself. She is highly proficient in QuickBooks and Yardi Premier.
Kim thrives in Oliver’s collaborative, team-oriented culture and takes pride in supporting wherever she’s needed most.
Amanda Thompson
Amanda Thompson is an Assistant Property Manager with a strong background in accounts payable and day-to-day business operations. Amanda brings a detail-oriented and service-driven approach to her role in property management. Though new to the field, she draws on her administrative experience to help ensure the property runs smoothly and that tenants and staff are well supported. A true team player, Amanda values building strong relationships and enjoys problem-solving to create a positive work environment. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her three boys and daughter, cheering on the Astros as a proud fan. Much of her free time is devoted to family and friends, and she especially enjoys reading and taking relaxing walks with her daughter.
